The 2024 Zero SR/F is a full-size, high-performance electric naked motorcycle designed for street riding, commuting, highway use, and sporty riding. It uses Zero’s Z-Force 75-10 electric motor, producing 113 horsepower and 140 lb-ft of torque, with a top speed of 124 mph. Unlike a gas motorcycle, the SR/F has no clutch or traditional gears; power goes directly from the electric motor to the rear wheel through a carbon belt. The bike weighs about 500 pounds and has a relatively low 31-inch seat height, making it approachable for a full-size performance motorcycle. The SR/F is powered by a 17.3-kWh lithium-ion battery and has a claimed range of up to 176 miles in city riding or 117 miles at high-speed highway speeds. Charging with its standard 6.6-kW charger takes roughly 2.7 hours to reach 100% on Level 2 charging, while faster charging equipment can reduce that time. It also features regenerative braking, ABS, traction/stability electronics, fully adjustable Showa suspension, dual 320-mm front brakes, and 17-inch sport tires. Overall, the 2024 SR/F is essentially a high-powered electric alternative to a conventional naked sport motorcycle, combining instant acceleration and quiet operation with the size, handling, and performance of a full-size street bike.
