Zero DSR X 2025

The 2025 Zero DSR/X is a full-size electric adventure motorcycle designed for both paved roads and off-road riding. It uses Zero’s Z-Force 75-7R electric motor, producing 100 horsepower and 166 lb-ft of torque, with a top speed of about 112 mph. Unlike a traditional gas-powered adventure bike, the DSR/X has no clutch or conventional transmission, delivering power directly through a carbon belt drive. It weighs around 544 pounds and has a 32.6-inch seat height, giving it the size and riding position of a traditional adventure motorcycle while providing the instant torque and quiet operation of an electric drivetrain. The DSR/X is powered by a 17.3-kWh lithium-ion battery and has a claimed range of up to 185 miles in the city or about 107 miles on the highway. Charging times vary depending on the equipment used, with Level 2 charging significantly faster than a standard household outlet. The bike comes equipped with fully adjustable Showa suspension, 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tires, ABS, traction control, and multiple riding modes designed for different road and off-road conditions. Overall, the 2025 DSR/X is essentially an electric alternative to a large adventure motorcycle, offering strong acceleration, long-range capability, and the ability to handle both pavement and moderate off-road terrain.
